WeCan was launched on April 27, 2018 in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Smt. Nidhi Khare, IAS, Principal Secretary Health chaired the launch ceremony along with Shri Kripa Nand Jha, IAS, Mission Director, NHM, Dr. Sumant Mishra, Director in Chief, Health Services, Dr. Amit Shah, Deputy Director, Health Office USAID,  Dr. Sachin Gupta, MCH Advisor USAID and Dr. Alok I Ranjan, Country Lead, Nutrition, BMGF.  The participants were Health officials from the State & Districts and representatives of development partners.
